PEM YAKIT HÜCRESİNİN KATOD TARAFI PERFORMANSININ GELİŞTİRİLMESİ

Öz


Özet

Bu çalışmada, PEM yakıt hücresinin katod tarafı yitriya stabilize edilmiş zirkonya (YSZ) ile kaplanmış ve PEM yakıt hücresinin performansı deneysel olarak incelenmiştir.  2 gr YSZ+10 mL methanolden oluşan bir karışım hazırlanmıştır. PEM yakıt hücresinin katod tarafı spin metodu ile YSZ kaplanmıştır. Kaplamadan sonra membran 24 saat kurumaya bırakılmıştır. Deneylerde, kaplama öncesi ve kaplama sonrası akım yoğunluğu, gerilim yoğunluğu ve güç yoğunluğu performansları tespit edilerek birbiri ile mukayese edilmiştir. PEM yakıt hücresinin katod tarafı YSZ ile kaplandığında, çalışma süresinin arttığı tespit edilmiştir.

IMPROVEMENT OF PERFORMANCE OF CATHODE SIDE OF PEM FUEL CELL

 

Abstract

In this study, performance of PEM was experimentally investigated coating on the cathode side of the PEM fuel cell was accomplished with the spinning method by using yttria-stabilized zirconia (YSZ). A solution having 2 gr YSZ+10 mL methanol was prepared. Then the cathode side of PEM fuel cell was cladded with YSZ by using spinning method. After coating, the membrane was left out to dry for 24 hours. In the experimental study, current density, voltage density and power density performances before and after coating have been recorded and then are compared to each other. The cathode side of PEM fuel cells coated with YSZ, the run-time was found to be increased.
